Yes guys, the harsh reality of life and Monday is once again upon us, it dawned bright and shiny with the rising of the sun and the setting of the moon. Sadly we cannot ignore our alarms as it bleeps incessantly in our ears nor can we roll over and bury our head in the blankets for it is not Sunday, it is Monday and in the immortal word of 90’s cartoon characters, “Thunder Cats are go!” Then the rush begins, the rush to get Sophie up and dressed and at school on time and you just hope and pray that you don’t hit traffic because the lights are out.
We hope that your Monday morning got off to a flying start and that you didn’t have to spend 25 minutes trying to lure the guinea pig out from behind the sofa so he can live to scurry another day and that you don’t have too much of a fight to get the kids ready for school and that your meeting with the head honcho get postponed till never.
However if your Monday resembles the carnage and chaos of Friday the 13th you have our deepest sympathies and our support. We also have the solution to a horrendous morning – sadly our solutions do not include pressing the pause button on time so you can simply hide from your day, our solutions involve a stiff upper lip and an extra chin guard or four so you can survive life’s knocks and your chin will be OK.
