World Environment Day 2023 is coming up on the 5th of June. The theme for this year, #BeatPlasticPollution, highlights the yearly production of 400 million tonnes of single-use plastic, with only 10% of that number being recycled and about 19 to 23 million tonnes ending up in our dams, rivers, and oceans.
